In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of material science, conducting essential tests that guarantee our products meet the highest standards of quality and durability. You'll contribute to the development of groundbreaking materials, collaborate with diverse teams, and help shape the future of our product lines. Your expertise will directly influence the comfort, performance, and longevity of items enjoyed by millions worldwide.

**What You'll Do:**

* Conduct comprehensive physical and performance testing on development textile materials and trims, adhering to established industry standards.

* Prepare precise test specimens from various textile materials, trims, and related components according to specified methodologies.

* Review the accuracy of technical data and meticulously document formal testing results, providing critical insights to material commercialization and quality assurance teams.

* Serve as a technical expert, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams including material commercialization, quality assurance, and product development.

* Ensure strict compliance with all safety requirements and operational safety processes within the assigned laboratory area.

* Train and mentor new staff and temporary associates, fostering their proficiency in test performance and providing daily operational supervision and guidance.

* Assist lab management with the maintenance and calibration of select test equipment and associated records.

* Manage the filing of test reports, specimen cards, and physical inventory of samples according to pre-established protocols.

**What You'll Bring:**

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent clinical or laboratory experience.

* 3-5 years of professional experience in a laboratory or technical setting.

* Clear and accurate verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.

* Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

* Exceptional attention to detail and an appreciation for precise, task-oriented work.

* Proficiency in personal computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communications.

* Proficient mathematical aptitude.

* Basic filing skills.

* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

* High color perception (color vision) is essential.

* Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Familiarity with industry-standard textile test methodologies (e.g., AATCC, ASTM).

* Experience working within a laboratory workspace setting.
