Your Job

i360 is seeking a Survey Data Scientist to join its Survey Research team. Using your strong technical skillset, you will develop workflows and applications to collect, process, and distribute survey research data in a digestible fashion to enable internal and external stakeholders to drive impactful change for their clients and the country.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain scalable, reliable solutions for collecting, transforming, and delivering survey research data, focusing on outcomes that impact our clients and the community.
  • Own the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for survey datasets using R and third-party tools, ensuring data quality, consistency, and readiness for analysis.
  • Serve as a key collaborator and technical resource for survey data transformation, working closely with Client Services to deliver timely, accurate solutions.
  • Maintain, improve, and document codebases following best practices for version control (git) and coding standards.
  • Deploy, monitor, and continually enhance workflows and services running in AWS and other cloud environments, prioritizing reliability, security, and impact.
  • Design and deliver Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for new survey research offerings, applying principled entrepreneurship to meet evolving project goals and deadlines.
  • Proactively identify and implement opportunities for process automation and workflow optimization to increase efficiency and value creation.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience with R and SQL programming languages.
  • Experience retrieving and transforming Survey Data.
  • Understanding of survey methodology.
  • Experience integrating with third-party APIs
  • Experience or willingness to learn Python

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Survey Science, Data Science, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
  • Experience developing and maintaining packages in R or Python.
  • Experience working with survey platforms such as Alchemer and Qualtrics.
  • Experience working with online sample platforms such as Cint and PureSpectrum. Experience with containerized application deployment.
  • Experience building applications in R Shiny or Flask.
  • Expertise in statistical modeling, regression analysis, and quantitative methods.
  • Experience integrating and working with AI technologies programmatically.
  • Hands-on experience utilizing the AWS cloud environment, including S3, Bedrock Lambda, and Batch.
