You will serve as the primary liaison between the network team and various application owners to ensure a seamless transition of these services.

You will be responsible for mapping complex application dependencies and designing the migration path for these tools into a unified, cloud-native framework. Working in a Fortune 50 environment, you will redefine how management infrastructure is isolated and secured, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations during the migration process.

  • Architect Resilient Systems: Define migration standards and provide oversight for tooling resiliency, ensuring high availability and "Out-of-Band" access for management systems.

  • Design & Document Technical Solutions: Create Low Level Design (LLD) diagrams and comprehensive migration playbooks to clearly communicate objectives to implementation and lab teams.

  • Drive Security & Compliance: Integrate Identity and Access Management (IAM) and security policies into migration plans, ensuring all tools comply with updated vulnerability and risk benchmarks.

  • Optimize Network Infrastructure: Evaluate and recommend Load Balancing and DNS configurations to support seamless service cutovers and system performance.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with application owners and stakeholders to map traffic flows and dependencies for critical systems like monitoring and logging.

  • Validate & Execute: Lead Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) to validate procedures before production and provide technical leadership to global engineering teams during high-risk maintenance windows.

What we're looking for... You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

  • Four or more years of experience in enterprise network implementation, testing, and data center operations; focused specifically on DNS, Load Balancing (Citrix/F5), and IP Address Management (IPAM).

Even better if you have:
  • Experience in large-scale Fortune 50 enterprise environments with tens of thousands of endpoints.

  • Prior experience leading complex application migrations or data center consolidation projects.

  • Familiarity with automation tools (Python, Ansible) to accelerate the migration of configurations.

  • Hands-on experience with network monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Zabbix, or SevOne.

  • Deep knowledge of firewall policies and proxies required to secure management application traffic.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Experience designing and implementing fault-tolerant architectures for critical IT services.

  • Strong understanding of operating systems (Linux/Windows) and how they interact with network infrastructure.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
