Are you a visionary content strategist and a master of engaging communication? We're seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join a pivotal growth team, where you will be instrumental in shaping the lifecycle email strategy for a portfolio of innovative consumer devices. This is a unique opportunity to drive significant impact by crafting compelling, user-centered messaging that fosters awareness, retention, and re-engagement, directly influencing the user journey and the success of cutting-edge technology. You'll lead the charge in evolving a sophisticated B2C email ecosystem, translating strategic vision into tangible, measurable results and building scalable frameworks for future growth. In this role, you will lead the charge in optimizing and expanding a critical B2C lifecycle email program. You'll be a hybrid strategist and maker, driving experimentation, defining governance, and developing scalable playbooks to ensure consistent, high-quality communication across a growing ecosystem of innovative consumer devices. Your work will directly impact user engagement, retention, and the overall success of new product launches. What You'll Do:
- Lead the optimization of the email program, iterating on content, targeting, sequencing, and cadence based on performance data and learnings.
- Enhance modular email components (e.g., subject lines, preheaders, body structures, calls-to-action) to accelerate iteration speed and quality.
- Develop and execute a robust experimentation roadmap (e.g., positioning, content depth, personalization, cadence, segmentation, creative system changes), defining hypotheses, success metrics, and documenting insights.
- Expand and improve re-engagement efforts across the portfolio of consumer devices, identifying opportunities to exceed program goals.
- Extend email strategy to support all new device launches, ensuring messaging consistency and quality as the program scales.
- Collaborate with Product Design, Product Management, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams to align on eligibility logic, suppression rules, and quality assurance requirements.
- Own the creation of governance frameworks and a comprehensive playbook for email distribution, covering targeting, frequency caps, content quality, and approval paths.
- Define a Growth Email Playbook that includes decision frameworks for communication channels, lifecycle principles, experimentation standards, content modules, QA checklists, and measurement basics.
- Reassess and refine the onboarding series strategy, evaluating its effectiveness as a product experience and proposing clear strategies for audience definition, stage goals, triggers, messaging systems, cadence, and success metrics.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Growth, Data Science/Analytics, Engineering, Design, and Legal/Privacy, translating strategic vision into crisp technical requirements.
You'll have the autonomy to define and drive strategic initiatives, pioneering new approaches to user engagement and setting the standard for lifecycle communications. This role offers significant influence over product adoption and user satisfaction, working alongside diverse teams to bring innovative consumer experiences to life. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and success of the company's innovative consumer device ecosystem by ensuring users are engaged, informed, and delighted throughout their journey, ultimately driving retention and product loyalty. Must-Have Qualifications:

- Exceptional writing, editing, and content judgment, with a strong portfolio showcasing conversion-focused email campaigns for services, software, or consumer devices.
- Proficiency in lifecycle fundamentals, including mapping stages, defining entry/exit criteria, designing behavior-based segmentation, and developing journey triggers and frequency strategies.
- A strong optimization mindset, adept at hypothesis-driven experimentation, clean readouts, and documenting durable learnings.
- Ability to operate independently, create strategic direction, align diverse partners, and drive execution with minimal oversight.
- Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage stakeholders and communicate clearly in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Familiarity with email deliverability basics and health metrics, including sender reputation, frequency discipline, and unsubscribe/spam guardrails.
- Proficiency in Figma for content structure, module design, and review processes, with examples of its use in your portfolio for email campaigns, playbooks, or frameworks.
- Ability to translate strategy into technical specifications that engineers can implement, understanding system constraints and ensuring quality through rigorous QA.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience owning governance frameworks and playbooks for scaled messaging programs.
- Familiarity with incremental measurement approaches, such as holdouts, lift analysis, and understanding novelty effects.
- Experience with consumer hardware ecosystems and multi-device communication patterns.
- Knowledge of accessibility and localization best practices for email content.
- A keen understanding of how to translate product requirements and goals into effective testing strategies and data analysis.
