  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position


This is an on-site position. Work will be Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic professional to join a dedicated team focused on patient coordination and front office functions within an outpatient clinical setting. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless experience for patients, from their initial contact through their treatment journey. You will support the daily operations of the clinic by managing essential administrative tasks, playing a crucial part in the overall efficiency and patient satisfaction.

**What You Will Do:**

* Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, handling check-ins and check-outs, and assisting with inquiries regarding appointments, payments, and schedules.

* Manage a multi-line phone system, screening and routing calls, and taking accurate messages for clinical staff and providers.

* Ensure all necessary patient verifications and authorizations are complete before appointments.

* Facilitate effective communication with providers regarding scheduling preferences and urgent patient needs.

* Provide essential patient support, utilizing reference documents and tools to address inquiries.

* Execute diverse administrative tasks, including maintaining information and paging directory databases, and processing internal forms.

* Operate telephone systems and electronic medical records systems efficiently to perform assigned duties.

* Consistently meet or exceed organizational and departmental service standards.

* Respond to non-clinical patient inquiries and messages, escalating as appropriate to ensure timely resolution.

* Handle the management and distribution of faxes, mail, and clinic-specific documentation.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* High School Diploma or GED.

* Proficiency in medical terminology.

* Familiarity with computer systems and software relevant to administrative functions.

* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, appropriate for a professional healthcare setting.

* Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service, solve problems effectively, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Working knowledge of Windows-based office software, computers, and operating systems.

* Adept at adjusting communication style to suit the needs and understanding level of diverse individuals.

* Proven ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in stressful situations.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35.81 to $38.96 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
