Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for will be responsible for cultivating and enhancing the company's current book of equipment and service businesses, including the optimization of current customers and the development of new customers. The Sales Manager will be tasked with building relationships with key stakeholders and growing top-line revenue to meet or exceed budget and profit plan expectations. The ability to be able to successfully close deals and provide appropriate after-sales support will be critical.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following essential functions satisfactorily.



  • Develop a comprehensive business plan that will service the needs of our continuously growing partnerships.
  • Successfully manage pipeline, forecast and sales strategy using tools such as Salesforce and OTIS.
  • Strive to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales plan.
  • Close new business to meet / exceed established sales plan goals.
  • Implement strategies for overcoming prospects' objections and resolve problems encountered with existing and potential customers.
  • Utilize market research and demographics to identify sales prospects within territory and ensure that field activities maximize opportunities to develop contract relationships.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and promote Catalyst's strategic priorities with clients within assigned territories and/or markets.
  • Work closely with the current Field Service Engineering and Applications Specialists team to cultivate new business and drive sales using the lead generation incentive plan.
  • Develop value propositions around client needs, effectively negotiate financial terms and close sales for products and services.
  • Optimize and cultivate information within CRM including OTIS/FileMaker to identify Time and material customers that are sales targets for new service contracts. Also following up with customers that did not renew contract within the last three years.
  • Keep up to date on new equipment and services offered by the company.
  • Increase sales and customer satisfaction within assigned territory.
  • Maintain an ongoing knowledge of competitive product innovations, sales promotions, catalogues and advertising for personal sales effectiveness and corporate market intelligence.
  • Attend the appropriate select state and national nuclear/service-related meetings increasing visibility to the Catalyst service offerings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Associate or bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years sales experience
  • Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, CRM application software experience is a plus
  • Valid Driver's License



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Minimum 4 years of proven track record of accomplishment in a front-line Medical Imaging sales position with SPECT; SPECT/CT, and/or PET/CT expertise is preferred. Related cardiac medicine sales experience with physician practices and hospital networks applicable.



Physical Demands:



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; frequently uses hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; often reaches with hands and arms; frequently provide clear communication, listen.


  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus



Working Conditions:



  • Work is performed remotely. The position involves computer and phone work.
  • Required Travel: 50%



Occupational Exposure:

There is limited radiation exposure during the performance of job duties when proper protocol is followed. Employees are required to use personal protective equipment.
