As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering a welcoming customer service experience. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, corridors, common spaces, and exterior perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access points by monitoring entrances, checking identification and/or visitor authorization as required, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical-related alarms, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document observations, patrol activity, incidents, and service requests in written and/or electronic logs and reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
