As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver Commercial Site in Nottingham, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a busy commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, complete reports using a computer or tablet, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist tenants and visitors with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related duties at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalating to management and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor entrances, loading or delivery areas, and tenant spaces as directed, verifying credentials and/or visitor information according to site policies.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation with accurate details, communicating observations and/or follow-up needs to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security experience of 6+ months is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
