Security Officer - Access Control Desk

As a Security Officer - Access Control Desk in OMAHA, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will greet employees and visitors, check credentials, manage sign-in logs, and monitor entry points and cameras for security-related concerns. You will communicate clearly with site teams, respond to incidents, and help maintain smooth daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a food and beverage production and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, processing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, issuing badges and/or passes, and directing guests to designated areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points using logs and available systems, assist with inbound and outbound traffic flow, and help to reduce unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including parking areas, loading docks, and common areas, as permitted by site requirements and working conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
