This Senior Director is responsible for collectively building out our solutions enablement platform organization and delivering a strategic vision at-scale to enable our customers to drive their business forward through moments that matter. This leader will have a deep understanding of our business domain, our data & analytics capabilities, and our technology capabilities to deliver value via a platform as a service approach. This leader will support leading this enablement via the platform built with modern engineering with seamless integration, full automation, and exceptional self-service implementation.

You will partner with stakeholders across Vertical Markets, Global Solutions, Global Data and Analytics, Global Technology, and Global Operations to deliver innovative customer facing solutions. This leader will passionately partner with our product management teams, and partner with them extensively to build customer focused strategies, roadmap, and implement these to make those a reality.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience and expertise in modern data and analytics technologies and capabilities that will enable TransUnion to modernize our platforms and products.

  • Deep experience in architecting, designing, and developing the key analytics capabilities powered by Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies.

  • Experience in transforming and leading high talent organizations that delivery critical business value through technology platform-based approach.

  • Ability to start with the business strategy to understand the why and the what and develop an engineering approach to translate that into the how that builds extensible frameworks and architectures that tackle a range of future opportunities that help our customers do things quicker, easier, cheaper, and through a self-service enabled approach.

  • Partner with solution owners, market owners, and product owners to help us balance the need for moving quickly to tackle immediate client opportunities with the objective of creating a stable, scalable platform and technology capabilities.

  • Ability to collaborate with Business Executives, Architecture, Delivery and Product teams to define & execute on the architectural strategy for TransUnion.

  • Knowledge & experience in designing & deploying cloud native applications in both private & public cloud hosting environments.

  • Obsess over creating amazingly intuitive customer experiences using Human Centered Design techniques.

  • Can confidently communicate your strategy across large organizations to influence stakeholders to align behind the objectives

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, including the ability to lead architecture discussions with global teams operating in an Agile / Scrum delivery model.

  • Ability to drive global organizational change, balance business requirements with IT initiatives, provide technical leadership, & manage execution on critical initiatives.

  • Lead teams of technology leaders, managers, and advanced engineers for building critical platform capabilities and enabling critical business applications by leveraging these capabilities.

  • As needed manage server administration in cloud and implementation of security controls defined by cyber security team at TU.

  • BS or MS in Computer Science with 15+ years minimum equivalent experience in a strong technical IT environment

  • Strong experience in leading globally distributed teams and influencing globally distributed stakeholders.

  • Exceptional leadership skills and an ability to develop and motivate a large team of engineers.

  • Ability to build value propositions/business cases and communicating within global delivery organizations & with senior executives (VP, SVP).

  • Deep product development expertise and understanding of enterprise technologies, platforms, APIs, and microservices.

  • Strong analytical abilities to organize and solve for multivariate problems.

  • Above all, we want our engineering team to be energized by your leadership and motivated by how you help them think through challenging problems and grow their skills & knowledge base.

Impact You'll Make:

  • Be an instrumental part of the Product engineering organization & lead the modernization of TransUnion's product delivery with use of public cloud platforms, DevSecOps operating models, & new enabling technologies.

  • Deliver business value through the benefits of moving applications and platforms to a scalable, modern architecture that leverages public cloud.

  • Enable market & solution areas through proactive dialogue on capability needs & mapping those needs to existing or new architectural patterns & standards

  • Occasional travel will be required.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information : The U.S. base salary range for this position is $166,800.00 - $250,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
