Position Description Position Description: Receivesshipping orders from Production Supervisorsand orService Departments. Locatesappropriate itemsto be shipped from warehouse and transports necessary quantities to staging area using powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks. Checks off units against pick list and returns order to Production supervisor and or the Service Departments.Assistsin warehouse duties whichincludesunloading items from shuttle truck and transporting to and stacking in proper storage area. Must be able toidentifyall items manufactured orpurchasedby the company. Performs daily industrial truck inspections andreportsimproper equipment operation to Supervisor. Must be able to successfully fill in for Coordinator in the absence. (requiresknowledge of all major aspects ofCoordinatorsjob.) Records time and production and performs other duties asrequired. Key Responsibilities Locatesappropriate itemsand quantities to be shipped per pick list. Transport items to staging area using powered industrial and manual hand trucks.Assisttruck drivers in loading and stacking items onto trucks by hand or by use of powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks.Checks off all shipments against pick listPerforms warehouse duties asrequiredwhichincludesunloading items from shutting with powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks and transportingappropriate storagearea in warehouse.Records time and production.Works eight-hour shift concurrently with other plant operations. Periodic daily and weekend overtime as production schedules demand.May be assigned task of training new/transferred employees asrequired.Other essentialfunctions asmay be assigned by management Required Education & Qualifications Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employeeis regularly required tostand, walk,talkor hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds,frequentlylift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
