Walters Wholesale Electric Company, an affiliate of USESI, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Intern to join our Marketing team. This position will be located in our Brea, CA location.

• Content Creation & Scheduling




• Assist in creating engaging content (images, videos, captions) for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Linktree
• Help maintain the content calendar and ensure timely scheduling of posts.
• Repurpose existing content (e.g., event flyers, product info, customer testimonials, promotions) for social media use.




• Community Engagement




• Monitor comments, messages, and mentions across platforms.
• Respond to basic inquiries and escalate issues when necessary.
• Like, comment, and interact with followers and industry-related accounts to increase visibility.




• Performance Tracking




• Track post performance using platform analytics or tools like Loomly
• Prepare weekly or monthly performance summaries with basic analysis (e.g., top posts, engagement rate trends).




• Trend Monitoring & Research




• Stay updated on trending hashtags, formats (e.g., reels, carousels), and relevant news in the industry.
• Research competitor social media strategies and compile findings.




• Learning & Development




• Attend team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas.

• 
  
  Experience in graphic design and basic editing of photos or videos (e.g., using Canva, Adobe Platforms, Capcut, Splice)
  
  
• Assist in running and monitoring paid ad campaigns.
• Collaborate with other teams (marketing, sales) to align social media with promotions or events.
• Reliable transportation. Ability to travel to branch locations and shoot content.
• Self Starter
• Working towards or has a Bachelor's degree in a related field
