As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, greet drivers and team members, and support incident reporting with clear communication. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, and use computers and/or tablets to document activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and drivers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing deliveries to designated areas.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems and report suspicious activity, access issues, and/or policy violations to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with traffic flow for trucks and coordinating with on-site personnel during urgent events.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, docks, yard, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or unsecured doors or gates.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
