As an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering customer-focused service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to support coverage across the property. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, and property damage, while following post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for suspicious behavior, reporting concerns to store leadership and/or law enforcement as directed by site procedures.
• Complete timely reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and customer interactions, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
