Genesis10 is currently seeking a JD Edwards Business Analyst for a 12-month contract role with our client in Bloomington, MN. This role is hybrid, with 2x per week required onsite. Additional onsite may occasionally be required onsite for system enhancements.

Compensation: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour, depending on skill and experience level.

Work description/deliverables
  • The Business Analyst - ERP is accountable for designing and documenting the technical roadmap of the ERP for the business. This includes, following departmental procedures to complete work, recommending changes to departmental processes, and prioritizing work. Subsequently, the Business/Systems Analyst - ERP must anticipate consequences of actions, potential problems or opportunities for change with responsibility for acting decisively in critical situations in order to circumvent a potential problem.
  • Supports the ERP environment with a focus on understanding application functionality as it relates to current and future business requirements.
  • Challenges his/herself to be the subject matter expert on all aspects of the ERP environment. Stays current on ERP technology trends and shifts in the industry. Anticipates and makes plans to accommodate the changes in industry, technology and business.
  • Facilitates, leads, and champions the successful delivery of solutions focusing on industry standards, best practices, root cause analysis, and training.

General Responsibilities:
  • Primary E1 for the consultant covers time and attendance, payroll, and benefits setup. It is desirable if they had a technical background where they could complete simple programming changes to applications and reports (UBE).
  • Client is in the process of implementing a new employee enterprise scheduling and time reporting system. This role may be called to assist with some of the interface UDC and possibly assist with general system administration of the UKG system, formally known as KRONOS.
  • Other Duties as assigned

Mandatory Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five years of direct experience with JD Edwards.
  • Experience supporting end-users with resolving system issues and implementing changes within JD Edwards.
  • Experience performing business analyst activities such as issue identification, gathering requirements, business process design, influencing direction, and usage of software tools.
  • Experience in the development of system documentation and procedures.
  • Experience in the successful implementation, configuration, management, and maintenance of JDE applications.
  • Experience with one or more of the following modules: Financials (GL, AP, AR), Job Cost, Fixed Assets, Real Estate Management, HCM, Payroll, Employee Self Service, Capital Asset Management, Procurement, Requisition Self Service, and Sales Order Management.
  • Solid interpersonal skills, technically curious, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical information to the end-users in an easily understood manner.

Desired Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with BSSV, BI Publisher, OMW,
  • Experience with databases such as SQL, JDE orchestrator, AllOut Security, SharePoint, Reports Now, UKG (Kronos)
  • Knowledge of underlying JD Edwards architecture and table structure: Data Dictionary Items, Business Views, Object Management Workbench, Business Functions, Form Design Aid, Report Design Aid and EnterpriseOne Report Writer

Onsite Requirement
  • Minimum 2 days per week, but could be more as needed
