Academic Physicians – Palliative Medicine Salary Range: $208,284 - $315,319 per year The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Geriatrics & Palliative Medicine, is searching for full-time assistant professors to serve as an Academic Palliative Medicine Physician. Appointees will manage patients on our inpatient palliative medicine consultation service and collaborate in multidisciplinary patient care within our embedded palliative medicine clinics at our main campus or other Chicagoland locations. They may also participate in leading interdisciplinary team meetings and conduct home hospice visits. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications. These positions are benefits-eligible.
