JOB OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for proactively identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers through cold calling and visiting new and existing customers. This role is responsible for prospecting, engaging, and placing orders via phone, in person, and email with both new and existing customers across athletic facilities, including professional sports organizations, universities, K-12 schools, and physical therapy accounts. This sales representative builds and maintains strong internal and external partnerships, collaborating closely with vendors, and internal support teams to ensure customer satisfaction, account growth, and successful order fulfillment. This position is focused on growing sales by capturing new business (80%) and servicing existing business (20%). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: Sales experience and/or athletic training background preferred PREFERRED EDUCATION: Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. OTHER: Valid Driver's License required. TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS This position requires extensive travel within a specific geographic territory assignment. Typically, 25% - 50% travel. The posted range for this position is $55,000 - $85,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus/commission not reflected in the posted range.
