Moog's Space and Defense Group is seeking a strategic and experienced leader to drive Digital Transformation initiatives. This role focuses on developing and implementing a Lean Digital mindset to modernize processes, data, and tools. This role will leverage cross-industry expertise and lean-agile methodologies to align business units, close gaps from past practices, and ensure that digital engineering strategies support current operations and future growth. This position can be located onsite in East Aurora, NY or fully remote.

As a Digital Transformation Manager, you will:

  • Develop and help execute a comprehensive Digital Transformation strategy tailored to business needs.
  • Manage multiple transformation projects and pilots ensuring alignment with the strategy.
  • Oversee budgeting and team expenses, ensuring adherence to financial commitments.
  • Create and deploy change management strategies across engineering and impacted functions to support digital adoption.
  • Prepare and present strategic updates and value propositions to executive leadership.
  • Represent business and engineering interests across aerospace and defense entities to promote enterprise process improvements.
  • Develop plans, balancing near-term improvements with long-term modernization.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate the transformation roadmap clearly and effectively.

To be considered for the Digital Transformation Manager role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information
  • Extensive experience in Business Systems, PLM/ERP technologies, and Digital Transformation.
  • Proven leadership in planning, budgeting, and executing complex transformation programs.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with and influence stakeholders at all levels in a decentralized, consensus-driven culture.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple project timelines.
  • Culturally sensitive with high emotional intelligence and effective facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10-20%

It'd be great if you also had:

  • Knowledge in concepts of Digital Twin, Digital Thread, Bottle-based Engineering and Enterprise.
  • Aerospace and defense design and development processes are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter PLM or SAP.
  • PMP certification or other project management experience.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $125,000.00-$202,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
