Job Overview:

Trinitas Regional Medical Center, established in 2000 through the consolidation of Elizabeth General Medical Center and St. Elizabeth Hospital, operates as a Catholic teaching hospital under the oversight of the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth. Situated in Elizabeth, NJ, the hospital serves a population exceeding 129,000, offering comprehensive healthcare across two campuses. With 554 beds, including facilities for long-term care and behavioral health, Trinitas annually treats nearly 20,000 inpatients, 70,000 emergency patients and accommodates over 450,000 outpatient visits. Committed to God's healing mission, Trinitas prioritizes excellent, compassionate care, particularly for the poor and vulnerable, exemplified by its status as a leading Charity Care provider in the state. Sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth in collaboration with Elizabethtown Health Care Foundation, it is recognized for excellence across 12 Centers of Excellence, ranging from cardiology to sleep medicine.

Trinitas Regional Medical Center provides treatment and support for those with end stage renal disease. This is a condition in which the kidneys no longer function normally. In cases like this, patients may require hemodialysis, a procedure where an artificial kidney is used to remove waste and fluid from the body. Trinitas provides hemodialysis across three locations: Elizabeth, Cranford, and Linden, New Jersey. Our comprehensive care extends to both inpatient acute and outpatient dialysis patients. To better serve our patients, all three Trinitas dialysis facilities have achieved 5-Diamond status through the Quality Insights Renal Network 3. Trinitas emphasizes expert diagnosis, treatment and early intervention for those at greatest risk.
