The Position
The Department of Finance in the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for one or more non-tenure Instructional Track Faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor of Instruction or Practice, Associate Professor of Instruction or Practice, or Full Professor of Instruction or Practice starting August 19, 2026. We are particularly seeking candidates with backgrounds in wealth management, real estate or commercial banking, but we would also consider candidates with other finance backgrounds. This is a teaching position without research responsibilities. Rank will be based on relevant experience and record of achievement. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. This position may range from 50% time (teaching 4 classes/year) to 100% time (teaching 8 classes/year) and includes a 1-7 year contract, determined by rank and experience, with benefits.
