Role Overview
The Supply Chain Analyst - Commercial Print is a data-driven role serving as the primary supply chain analytical resource for demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, supply chain performance reporting, and ownership of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process within the commercial print manufacturing environment. This role translates commercial demand into actionable supply chain plans and partners closely with sales, operations, logistics, and finance to improve service, efficiency, and disciplined execution.
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Own and manage the Commercial Print S&OP cadence and annual calendar.
- Consolidate demand, supply, inventory, and financial inputs into standardized S&OP materials.
- Prepare and maintain the majority of the S&OP deck, including scenario analysis and key risks and opportunities.
- Facilitate monthly S&OP meetings, document decisions, risks, and action items, and ensure follow-up.
- Partner with stakeholders to continuously improve the S&OP process and decision quality.
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts by customer, product, and business unit using historical data and sales inputs.
- Partner with sales teams to understand demand drivers, promotions, and customer commitments.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and bias and support corrective actions.
- Translate forecasts into inventory and supply requirements aligned with production and procurement plans.
Supply Planning
- Analyze inventory across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to balance service, cost, and working capital.
- Develop stocking strategies, safety stock recommendations, and inventory targets.
- Conduct inventory reviews, including excess, obsolete, and slow-moving analysis.
- Ensure compliance with customer stocking agreements and internal inventory policies.
- Perform supply planning activities for Commercial Print, including job creation and exception management.
Supply Chain Metrics & Reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting for forecast accuracy, inventory turns, fill rate, on-time delivery, and inventory health.
- Deliver regular performance reporting with clear insights and recommendations.
- Ensure data accuracy across reporting tools and systems.
- Support ad hoc commercial and operational analysis.
Project & Continuous Improvement
- Support initiatives related to demand planning, inventory optimization, scheduling, and service performance.
- Contribute analytically to SCP, ERP, and reporting tool implementations.
- Analyze underperforming products, customers, or facilities and support improvement plans.
- Document processes and support standardization across sites.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with sales, customer service, operations, procurement, logistics, and finance to align demand, supply, and inventory plans.
- Serve as a link between commercial teams and supply chain execution.
- Ensure compliance and execution of commercial inventory agreements.
- Support customer-facing discussions with data-driven insights.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in supply chain analytics, demand planning, inventory management, or S&OP support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Experience with forecasting, inventory analysis, ERP, SCP, or S&OP processes preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
