The Opportunity: UCF's Digital Strategy & Web Applications team seeks applicants for a Web Applications Developer II. This role is a key contributor in designing, building, and maintaining websites and digital experiences that support universitywide marketing and communications. The Developer II will play an important part in the ongoing UCF.edu redesign and will create modern, accessible solutions using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, WordPress/Gutenberg, and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS. The developer will work closely with designers, marketers, IT partners, and campus stakeholders to deliver highquality, scalable digital products that reflect UCF's brand and userexperience standards. The ideal candidate is a creative and adaptable web professional who thrives in dynamic environments, especially during major transformation initiatives. They bring innovative ideas to life while working within the requirements of a regulated industry, ensuring solutions remain compliant, accessible, and consistent with UCF's brand. They have experience building engaging, customerfocused digital experiences and feel comfortable balancing visual design, usability, and technical development. They can own projects from concept through launch, collaborate effectively across teams, and stay current with emerging tools like AI, to support troubleshooting and rapid prototyping. Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6). Preferred Qualifications:
