Description
The Department of Neurosurgery at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine is seeking a Staff Research Associate I to support innovative translational research focused on developing immunotherapeutic treatments for brain tumors. Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the incumbent will assist with both animal and human research activities and work closely with senior lab members to support study development, coordination, and execution. Ongoing training and hands-on skill development are key components of this role. Primary responsibilities include assisting with rodent surgical procedures, including intracranial tumor implantation and injections, supporting experimental protocols, and maintaining laboratory operations and compliance. The role also includes processing clinical biological samples, maintaining accurate experimental and sample records, managing inventory and laboratory supplies, and ensuring adherence to institutional safety and regulatory standards. Hourly range: $27.85-$33.21 Qualifications
