Job Summary

The Deburr Operator I is responsible for setting up and operating machinery to grind, smooth, and buff manufactured parts. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with small components in a clean room environment. The operator will ensure quality throughout the production process and collaborate with team members to meet production standards.

Job Responsibilities




  • Set up and operate deburring and finishing machines according to production specifications.



  • Inspect parts for defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.



  • Use microscopes and other magnification tools to identify and correct imperfections.



  • Perform hands-on manual work with small parts, including deburring, finishing, and inspection.



  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards required in a clean room environment.



  • Document production and inspection activities accurately in relevant computer applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel).



  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.




Job Requirements




  • High school diploma or GED.



  • Experience in production, precision manufacturing, or small-parts assembly.



  • Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.



  • Experience using microscopes or magnification tools.



  • Basic proficiency in computer applications relevant to production documentation (e.g., MS Word, Excel).



  • Ability to follow strict clean room protocols (no makeup, jewelry, piercings, or open-toed shoes).



  • Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.




Education




  • High school diploma or GED required.




Work Experience




  • Experience in precision or small-parts manufacturing is preferred.



  • Exposure to regulated production environments, including medical or clean room settings, is a plus.



  • Hands-on experience with deburring, finishing, and inspection processes.
