Registered Nurse - Infusion Rockville, MD Pay From: $43 per hour MUST: 1 plus years of direct patient care in an inpatient setting Must have Registered Nurse Licensure to work in the state of Maryland Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Must have strong IV experience Must have infusion therapy experience Must be organized with a strong attention to detail Must hold an BLS DUTIES: Registered Nurse will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Preparing patients for chemotherapy Chemotherapy infusion Basic familiarity of proper medication dosing and use Provide patient education Analyzes assessment data gathered from patient and family to ensure completion of database and plan of care within identified timeframes Helps coordinates care for the outpatient oncology population in collaboration with the physician and healthcare team. Directs prioritization and organization for complex patients Documentation exemplifies adherence to the highest standards of practice Anticipates and proactively plans for educational needs verified with patient and family throughout the hospital/outpatient stay and prior to discharge Excels in organizational skills, adjusts for changes and is able to complete assignments on time Role Models caring in all encounters with patient and family as evidenced by feedback from parents and an increase in patient satisfaction scores *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
