KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Functional Tax Operations to join our National Tax organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze relevant Tax metrics to ensure business and talent objectives are met including analysis of strategic and tactical operational; changes that influence objectives
  • Collaborate with Tax stakeholders to support the execution of projects, including engaging stakeholders in requirement gathering, monitoring project progress, and creating reports and presentations
  • Contribute to the creation of and execute coordinated tactical action plans of the infrastructure/operational functions supporting the national tax practice, specifically related to building and delivering key reporting products
  • Develop practice communications and agenda and materials for practice meetings; participate in meetings and oversee resulting action items and ongoing business operations
  • Participate in practice-wide and national strategic initiatives; participate on cross-functional and/or tax national task forces and work streams as opportunities are presented
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of recent experience in one or more business-related areas including finance, accounting, resource management or general business operations
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or other related field is required
  • Familiarity with data tools and reporting platforms (such as SAP/HANA, Alteryx, EDW)
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Basic knowledge or experience of Microsoft Power BI
  • Ability to work independently and provide guidance to executive level management across all practice operational areas
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical and negotiating skills required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. California Salary Range: $87800 - $185000
