DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Stock Clerk 2, you will be responsible for the receipt, storage, distribution, ordering, inventory, and record keeping of all stocked items, in accordance with department policy. You will conduct random spot checks on inventory, complete monthly inventory reports, and submit orders for items in need of restocking. In addition, you will maintain various contract files and update files with new contracts as necessary. You will also be tasked with maintaining a neat and orderly storeroom by efficiently utilizing all available space. It is essential to ensure that all items on inventory are labeled clearly, include the correct description, and list an accurate commodity code. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work hours are subject to change due to weather or seasonal needs.
- Winter shifts during the winter maintenance season are 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in stockroom, warehouse, or clerical work; and graduation from high school; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
