Job Title: Aerospace Systems Engineer Duration: 6 months (Contract to hire) Shift: 1 ^st Shift Location: Irvine, CA 92618 Pay Range: $48/hr. to $68/hr. on w2 without benefits (rate depends on experience) Notes: Aerospace Exp required. 7+ years of aerospace systems engineering experience. Job Description: Seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with aerospace experience to lead the development and integration of complex engineering systems. This role requires strong technical leadership, systems thinking, and the ability to guide design decisions from requirements through validation. Role & Responsibilities: Lead systems engineering activities, including requirements development, decomposition, and traceability across the system lifecycle. Provide technical leadership for system design, trade studies, and design reviews with internal teams and customers. Develop and evaluate system architectures and solutions to meet customer, regulatory, and performance requirements. Conduct system-level analysis, testing, and validation to ensure design compliance and performance. Support R&D and new technology development, with a focus on improving cost, performance, and reliability. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred). 7+ years of aerospace systems engineering experience. Thermal systems and MBSE experience preferred.
