This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape vital improvement efforts, overseeing the development of goals, deliverables, and tracking mechanisms to ensure project success. You will be instrumental in guiding teams through change, fostering collaboration, and implementing best practices that elevate operational standards.

**What You'll Do**

You will provide essential leadership for various improvement efforts, managing and documenting project scope and progress. Your role involves defining clear project goals, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating comprehensive training programs. You will also track technological advancements, make recommendations for new equipment, and actively engage with stakeholders across the organization to promote and implement strategic initiatives.

* Provide leadership for assigned functional and cross-functional improvement efforts.

* Manage, assess, and document improvement efforts and scope using a standard A3 template.

* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with management and other stakeholders.

* Implement quality control measures to ensure project and participant compliance with codes and regulations.

* Coordinate and participate in staff training and competency assessments for equipment, supplies, and techniques.

* Develop unit initiatives, roles/responsibilities, and algorithms as appropriate.

* Review reports related to participant performance and provide additional coaching and/or training, as needed.

* Track advances in equipment technology, make recommendations for additional or replacement equipment, and coordinate equipment trials.

* Conduct rounds for consultation, coaching, and promotion of initiatives and a safe environment.

* Coordinate training and implementation of strategies.

* Work with champions, vendors, and related departments to develop and distribute publicity materials for initiatives.

* Collaborate with organizational stakeholders to ensure the consistent application of practices across all groups.

* Serve as a member of relevant committees, report results to Senior Leadership, and attend unit-based meetings to address issues.

* Maintain data related to initiative implementation and outcomes, including expense reduction.

* Maintain a quarterly dashboard of outcome/process metrics.

* Coordinate all interdisciplinary communication efforts regarding initiatives, including forms and participant handouts.

* Manage initiative design and structure to align with the organization's key initiatives and projects within the assigned group.

* Develop strategic input for the Director regarding business objectives for both current and future projects.

* Partner with Operations Manager(s) to identify and develop leadership needs and internal capacity of the department, facilitating strategic changes in project scope or assignment across the team.

* Coach and mentor department staff through change processes and cycles of continuous improvement.

* Work with various departments and groups, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and understand their departmental workflows.

* Prepare and maintain accurate, coherent, timely, and auditable project records and cost estimates, as applicable, within department guidelines.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.

* Demonstrated ability to act as a thought leader and operational expert for assigned areas.

* Exceptional communication skills, effective at all organizational levels, including instructing, persuading, negotiating, conflict resolution, consulting, and advising.

* Proven experience developing effective written communications, reports, and summaries.

* Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse groups, both internal and external, and gain their cooperation.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $92.29 to $102.54 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
