Description This position works primarily in a warehouse environment. You will perform receiving functions, stock, pick/pack, and deliver medical supplies from the Distribution Center (UCDC) to UCLA Health's hospital and ambulatory clinics. Responsibilities include: Complete shipments by processing and loading orders and ensure all goods are in excellent condition Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area Completes deliveries by driving truck or van Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and report any missing or lost inventory to management Provides quality service by following organization standards Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat Salary Range: $23.27-28.92 Hourly Qualifications Required: Current CA Driver's License with good driving record (subject to DMV Pull). Ability to operate a University vehicle to deliver supplies to multiple off-site locations. Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds. Experience utilizing heavy duty transport carts, furniture dollies, supply dollies, cargo van, box truck, electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and forklift. Ability to maintain equipment, truck, and van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs. Demonstrated knowledge of materials management information system and other vendor software. Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Strong communication skills with a strong customer service emphasis. Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills. Ability to strictly obey the healthcare regulations for infection control. Consistently maintains good guest relations interdepartmentally, intra-departmentally, using English language in both written and verbal format.
