SPA is currently seeking a Financial Analyst with expertise in Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF).


Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day execution of assigned NAF projects in alignment with PMO standards while ensuring consistent project oversight. Responsibilities include maintaining project schedules, deliverables trackers, POA&M logs, execution trackers, and risk registers to ensure milestones are met and risks are effectively managed. Develop process maps and workflows using Microsoft Visio to support operational improvements and streamline processes. Create and maintain communications plans and stakeholder engagement materials to foster effective collaboration and engagement. Regularly prepare detailed weekly status reports and contribute to monthly executive summary dashboards for leadership visibility. Additionally, support change management activities such as impact assessments and transition planning to ensure smooth project implementation. Provide briefings to leadership and stakeholders as needed, covering project status updates, risks, and milestones to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.


Qualifications

  • An active SECRET federal security clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
  • 3-10 Years Experience with:
    • DoD/Army Financial Management
    • Providing assessments and improvements of financial statement auditability
    • Applying pertinent financial accounting standards advisory board (FASAB) policies and federal financial management systems requirements
    • Performing financial statement audits, audit readiness, or remediation services within DoD or another Federal Government agency or department
    • Understanding the Army Control Catalog and the Army CAP process
    • Documenting internal controls and testing results
