JOB TITLE: Data Engineer

LOCATION: 9700 Health Care Lane, Minnetonka, MN 55343 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES: Design, build, and maintain large-scale data systems on cloud platforms. Lead the development of data engineering solutions. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to design and implement data pipelines and architectures that meet business requirements, with a focus on healthcare data analytics. Develop and maintain large-scale data systems using Big Data technologies. Design and implement data management solutions with a focus on data governance and compliance in the healthcare industry. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems, with a focus on HIPAA compliance and PHI data protection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data engineering projects and initiatives, with a focus on driving business value in the healthcare industry. Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing, data engineering, and data management, with a focus on AI, machine learning, and deep learning. Develop and implement AI and machine learning models using large language models. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Position requires 2 years of experience in the following: Python, and Scala; AWS, Azure or GCP; Hadoop, Spark and Nosql Databases; Snowflake and Teradata; TensorFlow and Pytorch; Large language models (LLMs) including BERT, LaLaMA and Vision Transformers (ViT); MLflow, Kubeflow and Matlab; Reinforcement learning; H2O.ai; and Github Actions.

RATE OF PAY: $112,212.00-$137,466.00/per year
