Job Description

To be the key contact for assigned account/s and internal stakeholders in order to provide both effective strategic and tactical sales direction and communications strategies to profitably increase and develop global business with assigned account/s. The Global Account Manager works with limited supervision from direct leader.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Create and execute strategic account plans (GAMP) that are designed maximize profit and improve account standing all while being in alignment with business strategy
  • Orchestrate and lead key business negotiations, supporting Amcor's interests demonstrating an ability to influence decision and actions
  • Possess a detailed understanding of our company, our product offerings and system solutions, our industry (packaging), and our competition
  • Manage the complexities of global account/s with direct involvement at both the Corporate locations and involvement at the Plant level
  • Complete engagement with all stakeholders of your global account/s to include: procurement, engineering, quality, regulatory and operations
  • Help to identify customer trends and opportunities
  • Value Proposition Management - understand, manage and communicate effectively key strategies and business drivers
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Represent Amcor alignment with Core Values at all times
  • Support the strategy for Amcor and build the Amcor culture
  • Work to meet the annual financial commitments to the business - Top line accountability
  • Understand, drive and deliver ROS financial results through defined metrics, these will include working capital drivers (e.g., receivables, DOI, inventory management etc.), etc.
  • Drive forecast accuracy for improved business results
  • Be accountable for customer performance and Amcor's standing with the account

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

  • Education - Bachelors Degree / or MBA
  • CRM experience
  • Experience with multi-level sales process
  • Healthcare packaging, medical device packaging, or pharmaceutical experience highly preferred
  • Experience - 3+ years in successful business to business global account management roles
  • Outstanding Business Acumen
  • Travel Requirement - 50% +

CompensationThe starting salary for this position is expected to be between $112,800 to $141,000; however, base pay offered may vary within the full salary range $112,800 to $169,200 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position may also be eligible for Amcor's Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.
