Adolescent Program Coordinator

This position is responsible for providing clinical services in the form of planning, groups, and assessments in collaboration with the Program Director. Provides clinical services in the form of carrying a small caseload of patients while maintaining ongoing adherence to the treatment team's direction of patient care and clinical oversight from a licensed therapist (if not licensed). Provides general assistance with oversight of daily milieu related needs and activities and works with the Program Manager/Program Director related to programming changes or improvements.


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Master's Degree in mental health related field.
  • Experience: One year of experience in a mental health setting. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Positive leadership skills, excellent resident interaction and milieu management skills are required.
  • License/Certification: Licensed or licensed eligible through the state of Florida in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Counseling.
  • Skills: Demonstrates ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Demonstrates emotional stability and dependability. Must have good driving record. Verification of absence of criminal record on local, state and federal levels. Demonstrate effective clinical skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Extensive walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs. Must be able to lift over fifty (50lbs) pounds.
