Business Analyst III - General Bank Credit Operations (Hybrid)

This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a our company office in Raleigh, NC.

This position in General Bank Credit Operations performs complex business analysis to evaluate business needs and identify system solutions in the BOSS application. Assesses a wide scope of business practices, information, and industry trends. Determines improvements or solutions to address identified issues by working with a technical team. Prepares technical reports by examining and summarizing data, and creates specifications to support business initiatives. May oversee the work of less experienced analysts or assist in special projects as needed.

• Operational Support - Provides support for business and technical team operations by participating in agile team ceremonies, responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and working to improve team practices. Assists in streamlining daily workflow for overall unit, resolving escalated matters where possible. Implements recommended modifications and enhancements. Leads project workstreams and serves as a subject matter expert on multiple projects.
• Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs advanced data analysis, effectively communicating and directing analysis output.
• Identifying Objectives - Determines business needs through complex analysis and reporting. Develops strategies to achieve company and department goals, and communicates these through the use of specifications, project plans, or other forms of documentation.
• Reporting - Produces reports based on data analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. May develop process enhancements based on reporting.

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Analytics, or Modeling, or Reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Analytics, or Modeling, or Reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with an Agile team
• Knowledge of business loan origination processes
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
