Description and Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst & Administrator to join Lenovo's Services Supply Chain team for North America. This dual-role position will be responsible for both analyzing and interpreting data to support decision-making in our supply chain and maintaining the organization's data platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and data analysis, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team. This position is perfect for someone with an IT and data analytical background who is looking to pursue a deeper, impactful business career in Services Supply Chain. Would work directly with our fulfillment and operations team to maintain and create reporting. Focal for the internal team on projects and reports to be developed or improved. Ideal candidate would be organized and comfortable with managing multiple projects.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Reporting, KPI tracking, and managing interactions with 4-5 local vendors we purchase material with.
  • Support operations and fulfillment on tracking local vendor performance, parts and customer orders within NA network.
  • Analyze and interpret data related to regional parts usage rates, parts cost vs price, parts repair yields, substitutes, and backlog management to support decision-making and continuous improvement within the Services Supply Chain.
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to present supply chain data effectively to stakeholders.
  • Design, implement, and maintain data platform infrastructure, including databases, data warehouses, and big data environments.
  • Ensure data security by implementing and monitoring access controls, encryption, and other security measures.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance to maintain high levels of availability and reliability.
  • Plan and execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data-related solutions for the Services Supply Chain.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data management and analysis and apply them to the organization's data platform

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in statistics, data visualization, and programming languages such as R or Python.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in data platform administration, including experience with databases, data storage technologies, and data processing frameworks.
  • Experience with PowerBi and Codata qlik sense.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Java, and API programming languages, with experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Interest in pursuing a deeper, impactful business career in Services Supply Chain.
