Job Details:
Mercer University is searching for an Enrollment Associate for the College of Health Professions on the Atlanta, Georgia campus.

Responsibilities:

The Enrollment Associate reports to the Director of Admissions and Student Affairs and has specific responsibilities for support services and the dissemination of information about the professional and graduate programs in the College of Health Professions. Processes incoming application materials, maintains hard copies, electronic files and databases, and provides excellent customer service. Assists in encouraging applicant pool growth and building rapport to enhance and solidify Mercer's reputation and position. The incumbent in this job is expected to assist each program in the College in achieving their enrollment goals.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma/GED and two year of administrative support experience, which should include experience with customer service, database management, and web-based platforms/social media are required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks necessary to balance tasks with various deadlines. Ability to be flexible and to stop different tasks at various times throughout the day.
  • Processes problem solving and critical thinking skills necessary for locating and correcting glitches/problems in the admissions process and create and maintain quality control in applicant databases.
  • Has thorough understanding of the admissions process.
  • Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Has comprehensive computer skills including knowledge of databases, word processing software, web-based platforms/software and social media.
  • Have sufficient secretarial skills to effectively handle administrative, clerical, and data entry activities.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of all information and materials received in the office.
