RN - Behavioral Health Clinic

This nursing position will join a collaborative team of outpatient behavioral health professionals committed to Carle's mission and values. Will work in a department with 10 physicians and APP's plus 10 psychologists and counselors). Outpatient Behavioral Health population ages 5 and up. Provides phone triage, education and support; multi-tasking with returning phone calls/portal messages/helping during clinic/returning messages to PSR staff trying to schedule patients.

• Number of Physicians or APP: 10 physicians and APP's who nurses work directly with (plus 10 psychologists and counselors)
• Patient population (age, diagnosis, specifics about Clinic): Outpatient Behavioral Health population ages 5 and up
• Department culture and resources: We are a collaborative, team-based department who work together to deliver high-quality behavioral health services
• Frequent nursing skills/equipment used: Phone triage is essential; provides education and support; multi-tasking with returning phone calls/portal messages/helping during clinic/returning messages to PSR staff trying to schedule patients to name a few; organizational skills and being able to prioritize is key - we have a very fast paced practice
