Verizon's Consumer Wholesale organization plays a crucial role in how Verizon presents itself in the marketplace, enabling additional revenue streams and subscriber growth through consumer-focused MVNO distribution channels.

What you'll be doing...

You will drive the evolution of Verizon Consumer Group (VCG) Wholesale by securing and scaling strategic partnerships. You will own the full sales lifecycle for potential new accounts-from initial prospecting and PaaS strategy to complex contract negotiations and successful launch. You will act as a vital consultant to our partners and a strategic lead within Verizon, ensuring VCG Wholesale remains the industry's gold standard.

  • Identify and secure high-potential accounts by leading the complete sales lifecycle-from initial prospecting and engagement to final conversion and partnership development

  • Support negotiations on complex, multi-faceted contractual discussions with potential Wholesale customers

  • Responsible for identifying and representing VCG Wholesale at industry events

  • Platform as a Service (PaaS) Sales contributor

  • Internal stakeholdering across various disciplines including but not limited to Legal, Finance, Product Team, Network, IT and Revenue Assurance

  • Present, propose, negotiate and close new sales utilizing a consultative sales approach

  • Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while maintaining maximum profit margin

  • Ensure all internal departments have fulfilled responsibilities to bring newly approved Wholesale requested products or services to launch

  • Create and conduct clear, concise meetings with ability to track minutes and keep detailed meeting notes to share with leadership, legal, and other internal departments

  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate any potential niche markets

  • Conduct analysis of customer requirements, determine integration requirements to our existing customer systems, and present customer solutions

  • New Reseller Implementation and Training support

  • Continuously update knowledge of wireless products, services, industry trends, including the competitive dynamics of the marketplace.

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • A degree

  • Three or more years of channel management experience with a Tier 1 channel

  • Coordinated complex customer programs with internal and external team members

  • Proven success in providing business solutions to Wholesale customers or large-scale corporate clients.

  • Excellent customer communications, interaction, and presentation skills

  • Collaborated with internal cross-functional organizations and customers on complex projects

  • Demonstrated effective organization and negotiation skills

Where you'll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $106,000.00 - $203,000.00.
