General Summary of the Purpose of the Position

This position is responsible to develop Starkey hearing aid and accessory manufacturing test platforms. This includes developing, implementing, and validating hardware and software to test Starkey products at the component, subassembly, and device levels. In addition, this person will research, develop, and implement innovative techniques in detecting defects and test automation to improve cost and efficiency in the production environment.

Key Responsibilities




  • Design, develop, and implement automated test systems for NPI and production environments.



  • Integrate hardware and software components into robust test solutions.



  • Collaborate with design engineering teams to define test requirements and strategies.



  • Develop and maintain test programs using LabVIEW and TestStand (experience desirable).



  • Support NPI builds by ensuring test coverage and troubleshooting test-related issues.



  • Analyze test data to identify opportunities for process improvement and yield enhancement.



  • Optimize existing production test systems for efficiency, reliability, and scalability.



  • Provide technical support and training to manufacturing and test technicians.



  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.




Results - Performance Measures



  • Achieve quality, technology, schedule, and cost goals
  • Test development activities and deliverables are compliant with the Starkey Quality Management System
  • Develop innovative, reusable, and sustainable test methods, hardware, and software


Experience:



  • 5+ years of experience in test engineering or automated test development.


Education Requirement



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.


    Qualifications




      • Proficiency in test system architecture and integration.



      • Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand preferred.



      • Strong understanding of electronics, instrumentation, and measurement techniques.



      • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.



      • Strong communication and collaboration skills.




      Salary and Other Compensation:

      The target rate for this position is between $93,940 to $120,750/year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

      This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results. There is no guarantee of payout.
