Job Summary


Our Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring that products are produced in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. A Machine Operator has experience working in a food manufacturing environment and a commitment to quality and safety.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES





  • Operate and monitor production equipment following Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that products are producedin accordance withproduction schedules and quality standards.







  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment, to ensure that machinesoperateat peak efficiency.







  • Troubleshoot and make minor repairs to production equipment as needed to minimize downtime.







  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures, including wearingappropriate personalprotective equipment (PPE), Lock Out Tag Outproceduresetc.







  • Adhere to thecompanypolicies and practices.







  • Monitor and report updates for the production process toidentifyand correct issues that may affectproduct quality or consistency.







  • Maintainaccuraterecords of production activities, such as equipment performance and product yields.







  • Communicate with other plant personnelregardingproduction schedules, equipment issues, and productquality.







  • Participate in training programs to develop knowledge and skills related to production equipment andprocesses.







  • Maintains a clean work area.





QUALIFICATIONS





  • High School Diploma or equivalent.







  • Proficiencyof the English language (read, write, and speak English)







  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating production equipment in a food manufacturing environment







  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for operating production equipment







  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills







  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.







  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and equipment monitoring.







  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.







  • Must be able to read, write, andcomprehendEnglish.







  • Strong communicationskills with the ability to read and write.







  • Assistwith all othertasks asassigned by plant management.
