Assured Information Security has an opening for a Senior Deployment Engineer on our SecureView team. In this role, you will act as the senior engineering representative for a highly sensitive customer, serving as their main point of contact for engineering support and deployment services.

*This is an onsite position located in Rome, NY and requires an active TS/SCI*

What You'll Do:

  • Act as company contact in the field with customer and contractor personnel, exercising a high degree of tact, diplomacy and mature judgment, conforming to company policy directions with a minimum of supervision.
  • Ensure understanding and support for all customer needs specific to their use case and environment.
  • Prepare and conduct special reports and presentations pertinent to company products and services, field operations or other applications.
  • Completes testing and integration support for changes to the customer environment and ensures compatibility with all products.
  • Provides dedicated support to the program and program office.
  • Troubleshoots all helpdesk tickets and questions raised by the customer and other integrators.

Education/Experience/Skillset Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 8 years of experience supporting IT deployments or service delivery contracts in end-user or customer environments, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working directly with and supporting end users in an IC environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience implementing and staffing IT deployment teams, operations, help desks and other customer support functions
  • Able to understand large scale network solutions and configurations (VPNs, Firewalls, diodes, IP plans)
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems. High level of motivation; self-starter; results driven
  • Experience coordinating with a small team to troubleshoot, debug and work end user issues to resolution.
  • Experience independently working with and supporting end users in an IC environment.
  • Strong familiarity with cross-domain systems and / or virtualization and VDI environments (Citrix, VMWare) preferred
  • Knowledgeable of issues related to system installs in Intelligence community and DOD intelligence sites, including site sensitivities as well as highly demanding user and site managers (preferred).

Travel: 25% to 50%

US Salary Range: $122,653 - $166,559

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package which includes employer paid health insurance and a 7% contribution to your 401k, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
