Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking a Multi Species Content Marketing Manager for our Lakeville, MN branch. This is a remote position.

Job Summary:

The Multi-Species Marketing Content Manager is responsible for the creation, curation, and execution of strategic marketing content across multispecies division. This role supports marketing objectives through the development of targeted campaigns, educational materials, sales enablement tools, and digital content. Working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, external vendor partners, and a small internal content team, the role ensures consistent messaging and content alignment across all marketing channels.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Create, curate, and distribute engaging, species-specific content across multiple marketing media, including but not limited to print, social media, web, and email.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners on paid campaign content development.
  • Generate targeted materials to support automated email campaigns in partnership with the Digital Marketing Specialist.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly content for publications featuring multispecies educational content, industry insights, and thought leadership.
  • Create educational and promotional content including blog posts, short tips, and educational articles.
  • Manage, mentor, and support a team of 1-2 Marketing Specialists, providing direction, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Assign and prioritize workloads to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and professional growth within the content team.
  • Work closely with other marketing units to ensure cohesive messaging and consistent branding across all touchpoints.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and contribute to broader marketing strategies as directed by leadership.
  • Collaborate across teams to align messaging and ensure strategic consistency.
  • Additional content-related responsibilities as assigned by marketing leadership.
  • Must be able to travel as needed for tradeshows, industry events, and field support activities.
  • Other job duties as assigned

Managing 1-2 marketing specialists

Job Requirements & Preferred Qualifications:

1. Qualifications

  • Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily

2. Education

  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience, in a mulit-brand or portfolio environment within the animal health industry
  • Minimum of 1-year managerial experience

3. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employment policies, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics into clear, engaging content.
  • Ability to assess content performance and apply insights to improve engagement and conversation outcomes
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to operate a Windows-based computer and perform data entry independently.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of marketing strategies, campaign development, and content creation.
  • Ability to interpret data and apply insights to guide strategic and tactical decisions.

  • Frequent use of a telephone - listening and speaking.
  • Ability to work at a desk throughout the day; Frequent use of hands for writing and computer keying
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

Work Environment:

Work will typically be performed Monday through Friday in an office environment. Working more than 40 hours per workweek may be required.
