ChristianaCare Primary Care at Springside is looking for a detail-oriented, adaptable, and highly organized Medical Office Assistant II with strong communication skills and the ability to proactively solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

ChristianaCare Primary Care at Springside is located at 300 Biddle Avenue in Glasgow, Delaware. ChristianaCare Primary Care at Springside provides comprehensive primary medical care services for both adults and children. The practice offers various healthcare services, including gynecology and women's health, immunizations, physical examinations, preventive medicine, and treatment for both acute and chronic conditions. Additionally, on-site lab services are available to facilitate patient care and enhance diagnostic efficiency.

The Medical Office Assistant II is the first point of contact, ensuring a welcoming, efficient environment by assisting patients, managing appointments and records, training staff, and supporting workflow to deliver a positive patient experience.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday & Wednesday: 7:30am -7pm
  • Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30am - 5pm
  • Friday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
  • No weekends or holidays

Duties / Responsibilities:

The Medical Office Assistant II manages patient interactions, scheduling, records, referrals, insurance verification, and payments, including day-end reconciliation. They train staff, handle inventory, coordinate testing and appointments, support administrative tasks, ensure safety compliance, and maintain professionalism while performing other related duties as needed.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or GED required.

  • 2 years' experience in a medical office practice setting is required; 3 years' experience is preferred

Hourly Pay Range: $18.19 - $26.37 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
