We are seeking a
Software Engineer to join Zions Bancorporation. The
Software Engineer plays a key role in administrating as well as extending integrations with Azure DevOps and Confluence
The Software Engineer will:
- Develop and maintain the front-end interface of applications, ensuring user experience and interface design fidelity.
- Implement server-side logic and database management to handle the back-end functionality of web applications.
- Collaborate with product managers and other developers to plan, design, and develop dynamic, high-quality web applications.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across the full stack, including both client-side and server-side code.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance application functionality and user experience.
- Write comprehensive unit tests and documentation for both front-end and back-end code to ensure maintainability and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices are followed.
- Have good emotional intelligence and empathy when interacting with others.
- Actively participate in Design Discussions, and Demos.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of Software Engineering experience. Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
- Experience with Java 17 or newer along with Spring or Spring Boot experience.
- Experience with React and other UI related technologies like Typescript, CSS etc.
- Experience with relational databases like SQL Server and non-relational databases like Redis.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful service
- Experience building applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with streaming services like Kafka
- Familiarity with AI-driven developer productivity tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Agents, MCP servers).
- Bonus if you have experience working with Azure DevOps
Location:
This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.
The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah.
