Job Overview

We have an opportunity available for a Non-Warranty Claims Specialist in Quincy, Illinois. This position involves detailed interactions with internal and external customers including validating claim requests, collaborating with shipping carriers, factories, and quality teams; and booking and communicating credit or return information. It involves communicating clearly with all internal departments and customers/distributors outside the company daily while providing a world-class customer experience.

Responsibilities

* Validate claim requests and collaborate with internal teams and external customers/distributors
* Coordinate with shipping carriers, factories, and quality teams to resolve claims
* Book and communicate credit or return information efficiently
* Maintain clear and professional communication via email and phone with internal and external contacts
* Provide outstanding customer service and support
* Handle multiple tasks in a professional and efficient manner
* Use SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, and MS Office tools to manage customer and claim data
* Analyze customer needs and resolve issues by applying problem-solving skills
* Maintain detailed and accurate records of claim interactions and resolutions

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Technical related field preferred
* Product and/or customer service experience is required

Core Competencies:

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to handle multiple tasks professionally and efficiently
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience with SAP, Oracle, Salesforce (especially customer-related modules) is advantageous
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferences:

* Some accounting/financial experience is preferred
* Mechanical aptitude and product knowledge a plus

Work Arrangement and Travel Requirements


  • This position is based at our Quincy, Illinois, Charlotte, NC or Mocksville, NC site.



The pay range for this role is $45,000k - $60,000k. The pay range considers a wide range of factors that include a candidate's skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location.
