Learning Systems Analyst, Senior Manager

The Opportunity:

Define and implement a long-term strategic and technical roadmap for the learning technology ecosystem, ensuring scalability, security, and interoperability across platforms. Architect complex integrations and scalable solutions using technologies like API, xAPI, SCORM, and LTI to create seamless connections between systems such as Workday and the learning ecosystem. Develop and oversee the implementation of a robust learning data strategy, leveraging tools like Learning Record Stores (LRS) and analytics platforms to provide actionable insights on learning impact and ROI. Champion learner-centric innovations by adopting cutting-edge technologies such as AI-driven tools, micro-learning platforms, and advanced content curation engines to enhance engagement. Lead and mentor a small team of system administrators and analytics experts while fostering collaboration with cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders to align learning investments with measurable business outcomes. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in learning technology or HR systems architecture
  • 3+ years of experience in a senior or leadership role within professional services or technology-driven organizations
  • Experience with LMS and LXP platforms
  • Experience managing API-based integrations, single sign-on (SSO) systems such as SAML or Okta, and HRIS data structures
  • Experience with AI and machine learning tools for content tagging, recommendation engines, and adaptive learning solutions
  • Experience in advanced data modeling, using tools such as SQL, Python, or BI platforms for extracting and visualizing data insights
  • Knowledge of learning standards such as SCORM, xAPI, and AICC, and advanced learning technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Educational Technology, or Information Systems field

  • Experience in defining and executing a future-forward learning technology roadmap that ensures scalability, security, and integration of innovative tools like AI-driven learning platforms and content curation engines
  • Experience with architecting an AI-enabled learning ecosystem to deliver a dramatically improved learner experience by personalizing and empowering learning in the flow of work
  • Knowledge of building robust learning data strategieswith advanced analytics dashboards that provide insights into engagement, ROI, and impact, while ensuring compliance with global privacy standards such as GDPR or CCPA
  • Ability to design and manage secure, scalable integrations across systems such as LMS, LXP, HRIS, such as Workday, and third-party platforms to create an interconnected and seamless learner experience
  • Ability to align technical solutions with business and learning objectives by partnering with instructional designers, IT teams, and executives to drive adoption and maximize the impact of the learning ecosystem
  • Ability to mentor and lead high-performing teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure technical excellence across the learning technology ecosystem

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $125,300.00 to $233,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
