Description One of TEKsystems' clients, an enterprise company located in Birmingham, is looking for a Systems Analyst to join their team. As our client continues to go through their large-scale digital transformation, there is an urgent need for a Systems Analyst to join their team. The Systems Analyst will help ensure that the Master Data tables in the Item Master system are built our and are consistent and governed across all the plants. Anything within maintenance/inspection: ie MRO, there's not a lot of great data and not a lot of consistency) and the item master records need to be cleansed, scrubbed, etc. We need someone who can speak the maintenance lingo and dig into the Item Master from a consistency/cleanup perspective. This analyst will communicate with the external vendors and the internal SMEs to answer any questions (or get the answers) needed. The front-end work -- tactically, the client buys hundreds of thousands of parts every year and there is a need to create an Item Master to get good clean use out of the system and they have a sense of the priorities of the parts, the buying experiences, invoices and characteristics of the parts and this person will need to fill in any and all gaps. The minimum capabilities are someone who has an aptitude with maintenance and parts who understands the business and can grasp onto mechanical mindset over a data, but any data would be a huge plus. There is a strong likelihood that this role will convert to FTE and be a part of the Operations/Maintenance department and do some Asset Management and other projects. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vestavia Hills, AL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
