As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns to help to deter incidents. You will assist shoppers and team members with clear communication, observe and report activity, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, suspected shoplifting, medical events, and/or fire alarms according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances and exits, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor cameras, access points, and alarm systems when assigned, and report suspicious activity, property damage, and/or maintenance issues to store leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and customer service documentation, and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Loss Prevention is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
