Security Guard - Unarmed Roving Patrol

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Roving Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe for unusual activity, document concerns, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage location, including interior areas, production or storage zones as assigned, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify credentials as required, and document entries and exits in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and log entries, and communicate observations to onsite management and/or the incoming officer.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
